On April 24, 2026, at approximately 2112 hours, AST responded to Fort Greely for a report of a vehicle that had bypassed the entry control point. The sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Tommy Sauer, age 50, of Delta Junction. During the incident, Sauer nearly collided with a Fort Greely Police Department vehicle acting in its official capacity to prevent further access into the installation. Sauer was charged with Assault in the Third Degree and Criminal Trespass. He was remanded to FCC without bail.
