On 4/25/2026 at approximately 0137 hours, Soldotna AST received a report of an active disturbance at the Soldotna Inn in Sterling. The caller reported hearing a male threaten to kill someone in the room and observed the male with a knife earlier in the evening. AST responded to the address and contacted Christian Moore (age 32 of Kenai). Moore was extremely elevated and apparently high on drugs. Investigation revealed Moore had caused fear of injury to an intimate partner, damaged property in the hotel, was in possession of two types of controlled substances, and also resisted arrest. Moore was placed under arrest for DV Assault IV, two counts of MICS V, Criminal Mischief IV, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest. Moore was transported to the hospital for evaluation, upon release he will be remanded to Wildwood Pretrial Facility.
