On April 25, 2026, AST responded to a disturbance in North Pole. Upon arrival at the scene, investigation revealed that a domestic assault took place. The suspect was taken into custody and remanded at the Fairbanks Correctional Facility on one charge of assault in the fourth degree and one count of assault in the presence of a child. The investigation is currently ongoing.
