On 4/26/2026, at approximately 1430 hours, Soldotna Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting a REDDI (report every dangerous driver immediately), a black SUV Yukon XL had been driving with various speeds and was unable to maintain a steady lane position. AST located the vehicle at a pullout at near mile 47 of the Seward Highway. At the conclusion of the investigation, Aaron Kozevnikoff, age 38 of Anchorage, was placed under arrest. He later refused to provide a breath sample and a search warrant was obtained for his blood to be seized and tested. Kozevnikoff was remanded to Spring Creek Correctional Center and held on a $1,000.00 bail on the charges of DUI and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.
